About ME

I was born and raised in Montreal, Canada, speaking Italian at home, English at school, and French on the street. My polyglot, urban upbringing helped ignite my passion for culture and my pursuit of creative outlets from a young age.

I wrote and illustrated my first book at age 5 and became a published author when I was 25. That book, Canadian War Heroes: Ten Profiles in Courage, became a Canadian bestseller its first year in print.

My innate curiosity inspired 6-plus years as a freelance journalist, with over 300 published articles on food, travel, health, environment, technology, design, fashion, architecture, arts and culture. My writing has appeared in major media outlets such as the Boston Globe, Christian Science Monitor, Globe and Mail, National Post, National Review of Medicine, Canadian Health, and most of Canada's large-circulation daily newspapers.

My interest in medical science and fascination with the persuasive science of advertising led me into a healthcare copywriting career. I got my start at CDM Montréal in 2009 and moved to California in 2013, to deepen my knowledge and expand my expertise at Evoke, Pacific Communications, and Fingerpaint. In 2021, I moved to Cary, North Carolina, and since March 2022, when I joined VMLY&R' Health in NYC, 3 Columbus Circle is my “home” office. Over the years, I have worked on healthcare brands big and small, including Abilify, Atripla, Besponsa, Botox Cosmetic, Breyanzi, Brineura, Diovan, Evusheld, Gilenya, Gleevec, Humira, Imlygic, Kyprolis, Lucentis, Nerlynx, Neulasta, Nplate, Oxbryta, Vyepti, and Xolair to name a few.
